Life is crazy and it constantly tests you. I was all set to take off June and head east to do some Tupperware Sales Madness. June is slow in Hollywood and my agent always says you can't leave town during our busy times, so take off at Christmas and June.
Thankfully my good friend Chris decided to follow up her hit show from last year with another hit show starring FANCY. So happy to have helped with the first and now with the latest incarnation. Also the acting bug has bitten again and I was tired of producing/writing and directing so I auditioned for a great group of creatives and landed in the the new Musical BRONIES. Granted I was pleased to say the least.
Now because I did this, my work schedule fell apart and rent was due. Wouldn't you know I book a commercial....A COMMERCIAL! Haven't booked one of those since 1992. And I was planning on never going to another audition for one, because they really do make you feel inadequate and not trained.
What's the lesson learned? Don't always say no! Take the risk. it may be the universe testing you.
