If it doesn't scare you, you're doing it wrong.

So I finally tried it, Stand-Up Comedy.  It terrified me for years to make people laugh without hiding behind a character.  You have to be vulnerable in front of a new audience and reveal something personal. The show actually went pretty well.  It convinced me to do it again. It has woken me up from a deep sleep to take more risks and enter that dark tunnel in Joseph Campbell's "The Hero's Journey" and face my fear. It also made me realize all that I have already accomplished and all the more I'd like to do before I'm 50.
