There is a glow when you hear someone booked an episode of something or other. That means out of the thousand submissions, they were the top 15 or 30 chosen to read. Then out of that small number they were widdled down to the top 5 and then of course, the one who books the job. Jack Plotnik gave this great bit of advise and I advise all my students the same, "Let go of the need to book the job." It helps so much more if you book the room.
